In the app
- Open Genuine and go to Profile.
- Open Settings and choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
Without the app
Email privacy@genuinemeet.com from the address on your account (for Sign in with Apple’s hidden email, write from the address it forwards to) with the subject “Delete my account”. We will email the address on your account to confirm, and delete the account within 30 days of your reply.
What is deleted
- Your profile, photos, answers and preferences, including any sensitive answers.
- Your likes, matches, messages, reactions, date invitations and shared contact details.
- Your location, notification settings and push tokens.
What is kept
- Reports you made or received are kept with your identity removed, so that safety decisions stay on record.
- Copies in our providers’ backups are overwritten within a limited time.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. More details are in our privacy policy.
